Deep in the Bush, the Lodge is surrounded by Fever Trees and evergreen African Date palms creating a perfect oasis. Preferably catering for 6 to 8 guests, Masodini can accommodate up to 12 guests. Each chalet is private and secluded, elegantly furnished with an African flavour. Meals and a relaxing drink may be enjoyed in our Lapa, or around a bush fire in the Boma under a star filled sky. Coffee and tea facilities are provided .

Example of a typical daily activity: Early morning rise. (Some may prefer a lie-in.) After Tea/coffee and rusks, depart on a guided Bush Walk or Game Drive. Return to the Lodge for breakfast. During the day, relax around the splash pool, watch animals and birds from the hide, the elevated viewing deck or from inside the protected camp or visit any of many local attractions.
A light lunch is served by arrangement around 13.00. Depart late afternoon for a Game drive and Sundowners in the bush, followed by a night drive back to camp. Back at the Lodge, enjoy dinner in the Lapa, or around a campfire under a galaxy of stars. The Valley of the Olifants in the Lowveld is one of the last unspoilt corners of Africa - vast, unhurried, timeless. Named after the valley of the Great Olifants River that meanders through the Greater Kruger National Park , it offers vast expanses of the most beautiful riverine vegetation filled with an abuandance of Game and Bird life. | Health |  | | Our Chalets are mosquito protected, and we provide mosquito coils/repellents. Accommodation In the heart of the Bushveld, Masodini offers luxury 4 Star, private and secluded accommodation in Bush Chalets, each containing 2 Bedrooms and a full bathroom (en-suite). Each Chalet sleeps up to 4 Guests. Masodini is very private and can offer guests exclusive use of the camp and its facilities for up to 8 guests. Each Chalet is ideal for couples, families or groups of 2 to 4 guests. All rooms have fans and the windows are mosquito protected. Coffee and tea facilities are also provided in the rooms. The Lapa The Lapa has a well stocked bar for your convenience where sundowners and occasional meals, breakfast or lunch, may be enjoyed. In the Boma, around an open fire, guests can enjoy sundowners and Audrey’s exceptional cuisine, whilst listening to the sounds of the night and observing a star filled African sky. There is no more peaceful and tranquil setting than to gaze into an open crackling fire, clearing your mind, just listening and absorbing the night.

DirectionsTake the N4 from Pretoria, or the N12 from Johannesburg, to Witbank. From Witbank travel via Belfast, Dullstroom, Lydenberg, Ohrigstad and the Abel Erasmus Tunnel to Hoedspruit. Travel through Hoedspruit across the 4 waystop then over the railway bridge to the second 4 way/stop where you must turn left onto road to Phalaborwa. After 17 km along this road, you will come to several Lodge signs Singwe, Ezulwini, Tremisana, Drifters Pondoro, Campfire Safaris etc. indicating the main entrance to the Balule Nature Reserve, situated on the right hand side of the road. Upon entering Balule Nature Reserve and having paid a small conservation fee, turn immediately left and follow Masodini signs for approx. 5 km. On your left, you will see the MASODINI sign indicating the entrance to Masodini Game Lodge. Inside the property keep left at the fork and take the first road right to the Lodge. A direct route from JHB or PTA will take approx. 5 hours, depending on the stops made. The panoramic route via Blyde River Canyon, God s Window, Bourke s Potholes etc. will take approx. 8 hours..
