Description

Masodini Private Game Lodge is ideally situated to provide guests with true feeling of Africa. Deep in the Bush, the Lodge is surrounded by Fever Trees and evergreen African Date palms creating a perfect oasis. Preferably catering for 6 to 8 guests, Masodini can accommodate up to 12 guests. Each chalet is private and secluded, elegantly furnished with an African flavour. Audrey and Bert, owners/managers, will ensure through their personal attention that guests have a wonderful and memorable experience.

Take a walk in the wild with our experienced Nature guide, for a wonderful Bush adventure and Birding opportunity.If you prefer, relax and unwind, and take in the bush life and experiences inside the enclosed, safe and secure Masodini Private Bush Camp.

Our Chalets are ideal for a couple, or family/group of 3 or 4 guests.

Meals and a relaxing drink may be enjoyed in our Lapa, or around a bush fire in the Boma under a star filled sky. Coffee and tea facilities are provided .

Find the Big 5 in comfortable Game viewing vehicles and enjoy exciting Game walks with our experienced Nature Guide.

See an abundance of other game, bird species and small things adding to the overall experience and understanding of the interdependent role players, plants, trees, birds, insects and animals.

Example of a typical daily activity:
Early morning rise. (Some may prefer a lie-in.)
After Tea/coffee and rusks, depart on a guided Bush Walk or Game Drive.
Return to the Lodge for breakfast.
During the day, relax around the splash pool, watch animals and birds from the hide, the elevated viewing deck or from inside the protected camp or visit any of many local attractions.

A light lunch is served by arrangement around 13.00.
Depart late afternoon for a Game drive and Sundowners in the bush, followed by a night drive back to camp.
Back at the Lodge, enjoy dinner in the Lapa, or around a campfire under a galaxy of stars.

Named after the valley of the Great Olifants River that meanders through the Greater Kruger National Park , it offers vast expanses of the most beautiful riverine vegetation filled with an abuandance of Game and Bird life.

Health

Our Chalets are mosquito protected, and we provide mosquito coils/repellents. We recomend the use of protective creams or lotions, and some Medical advice suggests the use of prophylactics.

Dress

Evenings may be cool, and warm pullover or jacets may be required. Comfortable, closed walking shoes, hat and sun protection lotion as well as a flashlight is recommended.

Accommodation

  In the heart of the Bushveld, Masodini offers luxury 4 Star, private and secluded accommodation in Bush Chalets, each containing 2 Bedrooms and a full bathroom (en-suite). Each Chalet sleeps up to 4 Guests.

Masodini is very private and can offer guests exclusive use of the camp and its facilities for up to 8 guests.

Each Chalet is ideal for couples, families or groups of 2 to 4 guests.

All rooms have fans and the windows are mosquito protected.

Coffee and tea facilities are also provided in the rooms.

The Lapa

The Lapa has a well stocked bar for your convenience where sundowners and occasional meals, breakfast or lunch, may be enjoyed.

There is no more peaceful and tranquil setting than to gaze into an open crackling fire, clearing your mind, just listening and absorbing the night.

This can be undertaken in your own car, or guided tours are available on request.  Kruger National Park: Visit this world-renowned Park, for an unforgettable experience, entering the Park at Phalaborwa travelling via the Elephant Museum in Letaba to Satara for lunch, and on to Orpen.   Panorama Route: Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s Luck Pot holes, God’s Window, Mac-Mac Falls.
